Sketch Frenzy Friday!

I really like the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday this week!  As usual!  I was really in need of masculine Birthday cards and this sketch is a sure fire formula.
Here's the sketch.  Click on the picture to go to Sketch Frenzy Friday.
I even had the same decorator paper used in the sketch!  This Howlstooth & Scaringbone paper is not only good for Halloween projects, but masculine ones as well.

Ink: Black stazon
Accessories: Houndstooth embossing folder, Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Basic Glimmer Brads, dimensional, Essentials Piercing Pack, Piercing tool and mat

Washer necklace!

Sorry for the poor quality picture, but I just made this and I'm so excited!  The directions were in my Stampin Success Magazine and it was pretty easy.  It's basically decorator paper, Mod Podge, a washer, and some ribbon.  I put a different pattern paper on the reverse side.  Pretty cool, huh?

Meet Frankie, my new boyfriend!

I'm loving this little guy!  Thanks, Jill, for having us over to make this awesome project!  This is made using the Petite Purse die.  The sample on the right is a straight up purse but, as you can see, you can let your imagination run wild!

Paper:  Old Olive, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink:  Basic Black marker
Accessories:  Petite Purse die, Big Shot, 1/2" and 3/4" circle punches, white gel pen, dimensionals, Old Olive Satin ribbon, mini silver brads

Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge FTL204

This is a great way to use up scraps of decorator paper!
I used 4 different circle punches.  I was hoping to end up with something masculine, since those are the hardest for me to make.  But this ended up definitely feminine.
Click here to see the sketch I followed.
Supplies:
Stamps:  Elementary Elegance
Paper:  Everyday Enchantment dsp, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Ink:  Early Espresso
Accessories:  3/4, 1, 1 1/4, and 1 3/8 circle punches, dimensionals, stamp a ma jig
Have a great weekend!

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

I followed the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday for this card.  I'm fairly happy with it.  Lining the three elements up on the left side was hard for me.  But I'm loving the Make a Mitten stamp set that I just got!  And the Cherry Cobbler sweater trim!  And I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but I added Dazzling Details to the ornament in the sentiment and to the cuffs of the mittens.
Supplies:
Stamps:  Make a Mitten, Word Play
Paper:  Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Ink:  Early Espresso, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories:  Cherry Cobbler sweater trim, Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details, Silver Dazzling Details, Square Lattice embossing folder, Big Shot, 5/8 circle punch, 3/4 circle punch, Stamp a ma jig, mini glue dots, dimensionals, paper piercing tool/mat/template.
*I wasn't planning to put the holly on there, but then ended up smearing the dazzling details and had to cover it with something.  Allow plenty of drying time!

I don't know what it is about this card, but I can hardly take my eyes off of it!  It's so pretty!  I based it off a sketch that I had printed up years ago and it was still laying around my craft room.  It's even prettier in real life!

Ink:  Island Indigo, black stazon
Paper:  Island Indigo, Twitterpated dsp, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Accessories:  Elegant Butterfly punch, circle nesties, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, pearls, Big Shot

Summer Smooches! SFF081012

I've been smooching with my Summer Smooches!  I can't believe I didn't get this the first minute it became available.  But I'm making up for lost time today!  I really have about 50 other things I should be doing, but all I really want to do today is stamp!  I followed the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.  It's almost Scandinavian looking, if I'm thinking of the right thing.
 Supplies used:
Stamps:  Bright Blossoms
Ink:  Island Indigo, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight
Paper:  Summer Smooches dsp, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango
Accessories:  Whisper White stitched grosgrain ribbon, Printed designer brad, Dots embossing folder, Top Note die, Big Shot, Square punch

I just realized that I meant to go back and put some little blossoms on the stems with no flowers!  Oh well, I'd hate to mess it up when I'm so happy with it otherwise.  I think I'll leave it like it is!

Click here to see the sketch that I followed.

Have a great day!

Cute little purse!

This cute little purse is made with the Petite Purse Die from Stampin' Up!  I used the Be of Good Cheer decorator paper and then finished it off with a Gumball Green Dahlia, adhered with a glue dot.  Too cute!

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

These are the earrings that Rose Brown won for being the winner of my Facebook Giveaway!  I just know she's going to love them.  Be sure and "like" my Crafty Masterpieces page and I'll have another giveaway when I get to 75 likes.
Have a great day!

Sketch Challenge #388!

Here's the Wednesday Sketch Challenge from Splitcoast-early!  I normally don't like things at an angle, but I've been craving some stamping and sketch challenges really help get the creative juices flowing.

Favorite Pictures from Convention 2012!

I had a great time in Salt Lake City, Utah last month.  It was my first time going to Convention and it exceeded my expectations!  Here are some of my favorite pictures, both of SLC and of awesome crafts I saw.
I love this lion at the capitol building, I thought he looked pretty majestic:

This is where all the orders are filled.  Everything is so clean and shiny!

This was a clever wedding card on display at someone's desk.
 Angry Birds spinner card!
 I love this castle!
Someone invested a lot of time in this beautiful dollhouse.  It's fabulous!
This is a magnetic board made from a cookie sheet!  What a great idea!

I have a million more pictures!  I'll try not to post them all.
Have a great day!

New Blog! Well, kind of...

I may be switching back to blogspot!  I'm doing a test run to see if I can figure it all out. If you're looking for a post on the blog I was using, click here.

I love how I can post pictures so easy with the mobile app.  And just to see if I can do it on my PC, here's a picture of one of my all-time, most favorite masterpieces:
