Operation Write Home-Betsy's Blossoms

I was inspired by after5creations version of this card that I saw on Pinterest.  It's so colorful and easy!  We're going to make these tonight and donate them to Operation Write Home.  I'm betting it's going to be hard for some of the girls to leave without their "masterpiece"!  But it feels good to put our paper crafting skills to good use for a good cause.  This card is perfect for this because first time stampers and veteran stampers alike are going to have fun making it.
Have a great weekend!

Really Good Greetings!

I saw this card in Melon Mambo on Angie Juda's blog and I reproduced it in Pumpkin Pie.  Love it!  This card shows that you don't need a lot of colors to make cute stuff!  This was my husband's favorite card that I've made recently.  I make my family pick, it helps me to know what works and what doesn't!

Fun with washi tape!

I saw a similar card on Julie Davidson's website and reproduced it using the new Gingham Garden washi tape.  I used it as the candle and a bit on the upper right corner.  You just tear it off with your fingers!  The "flame" is wing from the bird punch.  Used the honeycomb embossing folder.  My 6 year old son picked this one as his favorite!

Meet the New In Colors for 2013!

I love all the dimension, yet simpleness of this card!  I used all 5 of the new In Colors, the new Mosaic stamps, punch, and embossing folder.  It wasn't complete until I added a couple of pearls!  Thanks to Brenda Quintana for the idea!

Cascading Card

I've tried making a cascading card before and wasn't happy with it, but I found some awesome step by step directions by LeeAnn Graff and gave it a shot last night.  I love it!  My club girls are definitely going to be making this soon.  Even with the directions, it can be a bit tricky the first time.  I actually messed the first one up.  But now, it all makes sense.  Thanks, LeeAnn!
