Sunburst Technique!

I've been seeing this technique and thought it would be great for a masculine card.  I watched a video by Dawn Olchefske and it's a really easy and fun technique to add to your crafting arsenal.  It's a great way to use up scraps of decorator paper.
Stamps:  Happy Day

New Techniques from Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference!

I just love this card that my Hostess Club members will be making this weekend!  I learned about the hot new trend called Ombré (or dip dye) while I was in Houston. I also learned that you could use the Elegant Butterfly punch partially, meaning only punch about half way.  Then wiggle the paper out of your punch and use a bone folder to slightly bend the wings up.  A whole new way to use this punch!  I love learning things like this!  I saw this layout done by Rachel Tessman and I loved it, so I used her same colors, just a different sentiment and punching technique.
Stamps:  Best of Love
Ink:  Island Indigo
Paper:  Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Naturals White.  Panels are 1 1/4" x 4"
Accessories: Elegant Butterfly punch, Bitty Butterfly punch, Rhinestones, bone folder for lightly bending wings.

You can shop anytime in my online store!  Click here to get there!

Language of Love

I saw this design by Mary Fish and I just had to try one myself.  For some reason, mine doesn't "pop" like hers does, but I love it anyway!  This was made using a stamp set from the current Occasions Mini catalog, see all the details below.  Have a great day!

Upcoming drawing!

Hmmm...I'm all ready to draw for winner, since my page is over 100 "likes" now, but Facebook won't let me see all the names of who likes my page!

So let's do this-Go to my Facebook business page linked below and like it. Then, leave a comment on your favorite crafting product. Something you just can't live without. Even if it's dimensionals, that's ok. That's mine!

On Friday, I'll draw for a winner out of everyone who's left a comment. I'll draw for 2 winners if there's at least 25 people who participate. Good Luck!

Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Houston, Texas!

I just returned from the Leadership conference and it was fabulous!  It was my first one and will not be my last.  They treated us like queens!  The highlight was being able to attend the Manager's Reception.  It was so much fun!  I'm going to rest up and then I'll update my blog.  In the meantime, be sure and check out my Facebook Page, I posted lots of pictures and updates while I was in Houston.
