Painted vase!

I loved this idea the minute I saw it in my Stampin' Success magazine!
I started with a clear bud vase and used a Tempting Turquoise reinker mixed with white acrylic paint to coat the inside, then baked it, and ended up with this beautiful vase!  I used various punches and water to make the scrunched flowers.  Finished it off with a butterfly and it's now a work of art!

I really don't miss these colors!

Now that I've moved into my new stamping area, I'm trying to use up some old retired paper.  This card uses Bordering Blue, Sage Shadow, and More Mustard (not retired).  The old color coach had this listed as a combination.  I really don't like these colors, so I added lots of dry embossing to take the edge off of these colors.  Not sure I like it much!

Paper:  Sage Shadow, More Mustard, Bordering Blue, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Versamark, Early Espresso
Accessories:  Heart Framelits, Fancy Fan and Square Lattice embossing folder, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Victorian Lace trim, Early Espresso embossing powder

Shabby Chic...kind of

I have the hardest time pulling off the Shabby Chic look!  Everything looks too shabby!  I'm fairly happy with this card, although I'm going to go get my manicure scissors and cut off as many of the little strings as I can.  I was inspired by a card made by Sandy Mathis on Stampin' Connection.

Paper:  Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Confetti White
Ink:  Not Quite Navy
Accessories:  Jumbo Sticky Rounds, Springtime Vintage fabric, Little Leaves Sizzlit, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Big Shot, Fancy Fan embossing folder

My New Studio! Almost done!

It's still a construction zone down here, but I just work and don't look behind me and it's like I'm in Heaven!
Believe it or not, I've been working in my closet all these years!  It worked fine for me, but now that I have classes and want to be able to stamp with other people, the closet just wasn't cutting it anymore.  Mike designed this great cabinet unit and installed it all himself!  We're almost done, except for a bit more painting, carpet, tables and chairs!  The two columns on the left are for Mike's hobby supplies, the rest is mine, all mine!
Thanks, Honey!  You never cease to amaze me!

Googly Ghouls Triple Time!

Another triple time stamping card!  But this time I took one 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Confetti White card stock, stamped it, and then cut out the two smaller layers.  It's a bit tricky but it saves a ton of card stock!
Stamps:  Googly Ghouls
Paper:  Basic Black, Confetti White, Elegant Eggplant
Ink:  Black Stazon, Elegant Eggplant
Accessories:  Oval punch, Scallop oval punch, black/white gingham ribbon, googly eyes

Daydream Medallions!

I saw a beautiful card by Catherine Joy Stockley on Stampin' Connection and I tried my own version tonight in my new stamping space.
